Well, in only slightly less than one year I am ready to dust off the blog I started with such fanfare, and get back to blogging. Others have moved on to twittering and things I can't even pronounce, but loud twitterings begin with a single twit. Josh
Having retired (more than once) from a dappled career as a do-gooder, I now make my living happily from my home on Long Creek Herb Farm. For years I wrote Dang Near Native, a locally syndicated newspaper column, with which I won several humor awards from the Arkansas Press Association and the National Newspaper Association. Recently some of my stuff has been running in Grit. [Remember, "Earn a bicycle selling Grit!"? Well, it's become a neat little magazine published by Ogden Publications.] Visitors to my blog who enjoy my musings might enjoy reading my 2nd edition of Missouri Curiosities, or sign up for a copy of my soon to be released book of humor, Funnier Looking Back.
